JCT

KYOCERA’s new JCT high-performance cut-off / parting and grooving solutions with through coolant capability to increase tool life, cutting speeds and feeds as well as chip control for improved part quality and repeatability.

KGD / KGDF

KYOCERA improves grooving performance with the expansive lineup of chipbreakers and toolholders to offer good chip control, MEGACOAT coating technology for long tool life and high efficiency machining. Applications covered are extensive with external grooving, cut-off / parting and copying specific inserts with low cutting force, general use and high feed solutions. Unique W grip insert clamping style is applied for rigid clamping and stable machining.

KGDI

KYOCERA’s KGDI internal grooving solution gives stable machining with excellent chip control and smooth chip evacuation. Specially designed internal grooving insert with the GMI chipbreaker produces low cutting forces and stable machining to create quality internal grooves. Special chip pocket design of the KGDI boring bar ensures easy chip evacuation. Ø 18.00mm minimum bore diameter.

GBA

KYOCERA’s comprehensive GBA range of shallow grooving 3-corner inserts with molded chipbreakers create smooth chip control and excellent surface finish. New MEGACOAT NANO PR1625 grade is applicable to both steels and stainless steels for added flexibility and cost saving and GM Multi-Bump design chipbreaker for advance chip shape control even during shouldering.

SIGC

KYOCERA SIGC high-precision small internal grooving with a Ø 8.00mm minimum cutting diameter. Newly developed clamping system ensures a firm insert hold to provide high-precision machining. Excellent chip evacuation with double through coolant holes combined with long tool life with the new MEGACOAT NANO PLUS PR1725 grade. KYOCERA excellent and carbide shank bars standard in the range with the unique flute shape to smoothly evacuate the chips toward the back of the holder.
