KPK High-Performance

KYOCERA’s new KPK high-performance cut-off / parting solution brings a new unique design for superior performance in all cut-off / parting solutions. The redesigned easy insert replacement, strong clamping mechanism and repeatability adds safety and security in challenging applications, reducing downtime and increasing performance with long tool life. New chipbreaker designs, MEGACOAT NANO grades and Jet coolant-through (JCT) styles bring the most comprehensive range to offer long tool life and stable machining in steels and stainless steels. Trouble-free cut-off / parting operations are key to reduce bottlenecks or unexpected downtime, having rigid, safe and secure cut-off / parting operations are achieved with the new KYOCERA KPK series. The new JCT system supports internal coolant, improving tool life even with low coolant pressure applications. Coolant is supplied directly to the rake and the flank of the PKM insert face of the cutting edge for dramatically increased tool life and improved chip control.
