MEAS

The new KYOCERA MEAS indexable end mill for aluminium machining offers high reliability, high speed and high-efficiency machining of aluminium. Grooved insert pockets ensure stable, high-speed machining thanks to insert rigidity and the proprietary hydrogen-free DLC  insert coating. Low cutting force design reduces load generated even during simultaneous 3-axis milling as well as a maximum ramping angle of 20°. 

MEC

KYOCERA’s MEC series offers low cutting force, reduced chattering and simultaneous 3-axis milling. The BDMT style insert has a sharp cutting action due to the helical cutting edge design, offering excellent surface finishes and smooth shoulder wall surfaces. 

MEV

KYOCERA’s new generation of high performance, economical and multi-functional milling cutters. Newly developed tangential triangle inserts offer low cutting forces, higher rigidity for excellent chatter resistance and economical 3-corner inserts which can be used in shouldering, slotting and ramping applications. Available in indexable end mills, long series cutters and face mills.

MEW

MEW 90° indexable end mills and face mills are the revolutionary indexable shoulder milling solution with double-sided 4-corner inserts. MFH Series

KYOCERA has developed the industry-leading indexable high feed solution. KYOCERA MFH series solutions are available in a wide range of diameters, Ø 8 – 160mm, with three cutter solutions available in the series – Micro, Mini and Harrier. Designed for long tool life and to reduce cycle times, even on BT30 small machining centres. Convex cutting edge inserts are designed to offer stable machining with excellent chattering resistance. 

MFH Boost

KYOCERA’s latest addition to the popular MFH series, the MFH Boost high feed and large depth of cut indexable insert milling solution. Excellent performance in a wide range of applications by providing multiple solutions for various machining environments. The 4-corner, double-sided insert supports depth of cut up to 2.5mm and high-efficiency machining in various applications such as shouldering, slotting, helical milling and ramping applications. 

MFK

The double-sided insert with a free cutting geometry offers unmatched chatter resistance. 10 truly usable cutting edges per insert with a tough edge design reduces cutting forces. The new cast iron specific milling CA420M CVD grade achieves long tool life and consistent cutting. Ceramic, CBN and wiper options are also available. 

MFLN

A unique new solution from KYOCERA, the MFLN series offers unmatched performance in heavy milling applications. Vertical tangential 4-corner inserts can be used in 45°, 70° and 90° cutting angle designs offering maximum flexibility as well as the largest depth of cut of 20mm. The tough and reliable insert offers stable heavy milling with a convex cutting edge to reduce impact forces. 

MFPN

KYOCERA MFPN series offers 45° and 66° approach angle options for the most economical face milling solution. The pentagonal double-sided insert offers true 10 cutting edges with a curved cutting edge design to reduce load and suppress sudden fractioning even in heavy applications. 

MFSE

Introducing KYOCERA’s newly developed high precision high rake cutter, the MFSE45. Rough and finish in 1 pass with excellent surface finish. Long tool life is maintained with the high precision inserts with newly developed chipbreaker geometries for steel, stainless steel and aluminiums. 

MFSN88

The economical and highly efficient MFSN88 cutter offers 8-corner inserts with an 88° approach angle dramatically reducing costs in shoulder milling roughing applications. The low force design ensures chatter reduction and long tool life with the new MEGACOAT NANO coating technology.  

MFWN

MFWN’s double-sided 6 cutting edge inserts with their thick edge design offer superior fracture resistance and are economical for true 90° shoulder milling. The sharp cutting design reduces cutting forces, chattering even with long overhang and offers superior surface finishes. 

MFWN Mini

The latest development in KYOCERA’s shoulder milling range, the MFWN Mini builds on the success of the MFWN range but with a smaller more economical insert size. The double-sided insert with 6 usable cutting edges reduces machining costs for applications that do not require depths of cut exceeding 5mm per pass. The thick edge design is carried into the new WNMU05 inserts to still offer excellent fracture resistance and sharp cutting. 

MRW

KYOCERA’s MRW double-sided round insert milling cutter reduces cutting costs with the economical 8-edges per inserts. The flatlock structure of the milling cutter pocket and insert ensure stable machining by preventing insert rotation during machining. Waved cutting edge design lowers cutting forces equivalent to positive type inserts.

MRX

The KYOCERA MRX economical positive round insert with 6 useable cutting edges lowers cutting force due to the helical cutting edge design. The flat lock insert and milling cutter pocket design holds the insert firmly in place and prevent rotation during machining. R4, R5, R6 and R8 radius sizes are available. 

PR015S-M

The latest technology advancement from KYOCERA is the launch of the new PR015S carbide milling insert grade for the machining of hardened materials. This revolutionary new grade with MEGACOAT HARD technology provides long tool life and stable machining even up to 60HRC. Available inserts are for the MEW, MFPN, MFSN88 & MFWN series cutters, in the GH tough edge geometry.
